Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge Hit at Our House Parties My husband and I love to entertain friends and family on the weekends. We recently added this record player into our home and it was a crowd favorite! Now friends are bringing over records to play whenever they come over. It really has been not only a great topic of conversation between our friends and I, but also extremely entertaining. Wonderful sound quality, and honestly prefer to listen to this over our radio! We received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cool once it worked!! This is a pretty cool record player once I finally got it to work!! Hopefully if you buy, you won't have to do what I had to. The instructions seemed pretty straight forward, remove the needle protector, balance the weighted arm to the record, connect to a Bluetooth speaker, check you record to see which one to put it on either the 33 or 45 and it "should automatically" play. Well mine didn't. Nowhere in the instructions does it say how to remove the spin table or how to adjust or attach the band if it may have fell off. Which of course was my case. I messed with this darn thing for weeks thinking I was doing something wrong.....I finally googled what could be the issue. I researched how to get the dang thing off, which is harder than you think, then got the thin band reattached and put it back together and BAM it started playing. Thankfully so far I don't think I did any damage to the record. Now only if I could get back those long frustrating hours spent trying to figure out why this wouldn't spin would be great!! The sound is great, it can even hook up to your desktop/laptop to record! Pretty sweet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Oh, It's Still Very Fresh in My Mind Just so we're clear, this is my third product purchase of an HoM product. The headphone and earbud products are spectacular. Sound equals the best out there if not better. The turntable aesthetically is gorgeous. Beautiful lines and looks like fine furniture. Unfortunately, "someone" thought they could get into the turntable business just by putting lipstick on it and compete. They were mistaken: - Very difficult to balance and anti-skate the tonearm: Patience is my strong suit but this process yanked it right out of me. After a week of tweaking, the tonearm still gets thrown out of the center! Using the manufacturer's settings for the supplied cartridge (2.5-3.5) and a calibrated gram scale I have pushed the balance to 3.7; matched the anti-skate, and on a new record it still tosses the needle back onto the grooves. - Tonearm does not move fluidly in its housing: It is very chunky making it a challenge to know when the tonearm is balanced, preparing it for weight adjustment. - Volume knob for headphones not aligned: The markings on the knob are not aligned with the marker on the plinth so I have no visual idea whether the volume is turned down or up. - Bluetooth does not pair with some products - BIG DEAL BREAKER: I am supposing the BT function on the turntable acts as a transmitter. That being the case, it transmits its sound to the device you choose to pair it to. It works on HoM products but I have a 2019 Bluetooth-enabled stereo receiver, major brand name, that after 20 attempts will not pair with the turntable. It does not pair with another brand of headphones. To test, I brought in another late model, major brand Bluetooth-enabled turntable and the receiver paired instantly. Was so hoping I could display the beautiful turntable while playing tunes with it out in the backyard BBQ party. No such chance. If this is an anomaly, it would be great for HoM to help me correct these faults. If not, would recommend you wait for a few iterations before purchasing this. I am disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect sound quality I’m blown away by this turntable. Everything about it is absolutely beautiful. The material it’s made out of has a gorgeous finish, and it’s built very sturdily. I also love how easy it is to connect to my Bluetooth speakers. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. It’s so nice to be listening to records with such good quality sound!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it, might need some start up help This is my 3rd record player and probably the highest quality turntable to date. I do get the feeling that if I bought this one with no prior experience - I'd still be struggling to get it to work. The setup instructions are a little too open ended in my mind. From past experience I got it up and running and now am very pleased with the product. The best part is the clean look - I know thats not what vinyl purists want to hear but it really does have a cool look. The sound quality is also great - the pre-amp has a tangible impact to the listener. Not much wobble in my opinion but I am comparing it to some cheaper alternatives I've had in the past. Overall i think its been a sweet addition to my living room

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Trendy design, lacking features This product has good sound quality for the price, but a couple major downfalls that took the rating down. 1. There is no acrylic dust cover just a cloth. This isn’t convenient at all, so it never gets put back on mine. 2. There is no auto return to start, like many other products at this price point or below have. The look of the design is nice, looks very well! The Bluetooth capability is also nice, but when connecting it it has a really long crazy name. I would urge you to do your research on turntables before purchasing, to ensure you are getting exactly what you are looking for. All in all this is a fun new piece of equipment to add to my office!

This is a new product.  I cannot get the spindle to turn. It’s plugged in, I can pair the Bluetooth.  Can’t get the record to spin.   Am I missing something?  Thanks

Asked by: Msobel
Two questions, if you put your ear close to the turntable do you hear the motor running? It's rather quiet but you can hear it. If so, have you placed the rubber belt around the motor spindle? The belt is pre-wrapped around the turntable drum underneath.

how do you connect to a bt speaker

Asked by: packer174
I was able to easily connect to Alexa, and a house of marley BT speaker, just by clicking the BT button and letting it search, but not my Yamaha soundbar.  I actually returned my unit and am waiting for it’s replacement.  I have heard that it helps to turn off any Bluetooth devices close to it, and any phones.  They assured me it should connect to any BT speaker.

How do you go about pairing the turntable to a speaker?

Asked by: behrminimum
Thank you for your question. You will use the RC cable included in the packaging. Depending on what you are connecting the turntable to you may need additional instructions from the manufacture of your speaker. Connection instructions are located on PG 2/3 of the user manual.

does have stir it up wireless turntable speakers build in or it have to be purchase separate? Thank you Mark

Asked by: Repa
There are no speakers inside the turntable itself. However, the Bluetooth capabilities allow you to choose whatever compatible Bluetooth speaker system you prefer.
