Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Bluetooth I have had Love it. Connects to tv without need of extra surround sound. Battery went bad after 2 yrs and got the new one for free lifetime warranty just as it states. Thanks Marley

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ZERO STARS There is a voice that will interrupt the music to tell you it is "charging"or "pairing"or "powered on" every 30 seconds. You can't even listen to a song without the music getting cut off. Whoever approved of this should be fired immediately. So disappointed in this Marley product I'm very unlikely of buying anything with the Marley branding.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very muddy, heavy bass I got this in December and chose it over JBL and Sony XB Bluetooth speakers without testing them first. If you get the chance, test out what speaker you're going to purchase before buying to know for sure you'll be happy with it. I was really drawn in by the aesthetics and how environmentally friendly this company works to not use new plastics. Beautiful on the outside, works well as a piece for your house, but the sound quality disappoints me. It's a very loud speaker, and using in my apartment doesn't help when I want to listen to it at night or if I want to listen to voice audio because the bass is so intense it becomes quite muddy unless you're leaving the back of the speaker pointing in more of an open space. If this speaker is right up against a wall, I basically cuts everything but more bass and is difficult to make out spoken words. This speakers good for someone who's going to be pumping out really bass heavy music. I was fooled into thinking it would naturally do stereo sound on its own having 4 speakers on the front, but you can do that if you pair two of them together which I don't want to own two of these. It's okay when I play classical music with much less bass in it, but I don't like the sound quality for about anything else. When I go to turn it up by one notch, it goes from very quiet to very loud, there's no intermediate, and no matter the volume even if it's quietly playing at night, will blast it telling you it's powering off which takes about 5 minutes to do after not playing any noise through it. Then you have to turn it back on which you can't just push the power button, you have to hold it for about 5 seconds or longer, I wish there was a longer standby mode and the option to turn off the voice prompts. Battery life is good as I only use when I'm in the bathroom or kitchen, I've charged it once in almost two weeks. It sounds better outside than inside because of the massive passive radiator on the back, but also a delicate build with no protection or water proofing on the drivers, which in turn makes it not ideal to bring outside your house, you could damage this baby quite easily if you're not paying attention. This speaker is for the aesthetics and not for the sound quality in my opinion. It connects cast to Bluetooth and doesn't have a horrible lag when watching videos, but it's no Sony XB series. Personally I wouldn't recommend to someone else after living with it for a few months and would rather give it as a gift to someone who really wanted it so I can move on. If maybe they had it paired to an app where you could control a graphic equalizer in real time it could be put to better use but I wouldn't buy this product again. If you're not so worried about sound quality and want to be environmentally conscious by buying less new material this would work great as the aesthetics of its looks are still beautiful for a Bluetooth speaker. Very disappointed. Try it in a store before purchasing is my advice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Returning due to the artificial speech prompts Looks good, sounds good. But some artificial woman's voice TALKS all the time. "PAIRING" "CHARGING" "SPEAKER OFF". This stupid voice breaks into the music and spontaneously talks an hour after the music is off. It's repulsive. And it can't be turned off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Charging broken I do not recommend this product. I had it less than 2 years and when it’s plugged in to charge, the speaker does not charge and a repetitive voice constantly informs you that it is charging. It is stuck in a loop and is absurdly annoying to hear. Don’t be fooled by this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the speaker the charger sucks My father bought me this speaker for Christmas. And I love it. I have ms so I’m stuck at home all the time and I use the speaker all the time until I broke the charging cable. I don’t know what kind of cable it is to replace.?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great speaker overall but problems with charging I bought the get together mini speaker 2 years ago and I've been using it regularly for 2 or 3 months and suddenly the micro USB charging port is broken and wondering what my options are because it's not easy finding someone to fix it in my area, this is my problem

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great speaker but with a serious flaw Awesome sound and the speaker looks great but voice prompts are to me VERY loud. And as far as I know there is no way to turn them off which is a pretty dumb design in my opinion. I wouldn't buy the speaker if I knew about that issue. I had to stop using the speaker in a bedroom as it was waking me up when it was turning off. So defo buy it if you don't mind it shouting "powering off" or "powering on" at you at the level of 84 decibels (based on a mobile app reading so it might be inaccurate)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved before.... love it more NOW! My children bought a mini for my birthday which along with a subscription to Spotify, really renewed my love for music. The sound is great, the portability wonderful, the look is clean couldn't have been happier until...... the charge port was damaged by me not pulling the cord out prior to moving the mini. I ordered a USB cord for the "charge out" port but it doesn't work for charging. I confirmed this by looking on their site ( which I should have done in the first place) and discovered other people had the same issue as me. They were referred to a phone number so I figured I had nothing to loose and called. The service I received was great. I was given a claim no. And instructions to return my unchargable mini. I was told it would be replaced after I told them it was two years old. I was the reason for the charge port issues but they still sent me a new mini. Who provides service like that!! I am a fan for life!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good sound The sound is great. My only complaint is that there is no way to turn off the overly loud voice prompt. The low power warning sound is also ridiculously loud. I've stopped using the speaker in the office because of this. Great speaker at home, though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Big sound, small package but... The voice prompt and the fact that its volume can't be changed, it can't be deactivated, it interrupts playback to tell you it's charging AND the fact that it's not part of any firmware that is modifiable is really the biggest caveat of an otherwise good sounding speaker. It really is a major design flaw. Many report a failing mini USB port, but mine is permanently plugged in so I cannot report on any weakness in that regard.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good speaker, small issue I bought this speaker a couple weeks back and love how clear the sound of music or relatively anything that I play out of it sounds. I notice whether connected to bluetooth or through an AUX cord, that at a low volume it makes a sort of screeching noise. I am unsure of how or if you can fix it. It is really bothersome. I may try to return it. If I could relate the sound to something, it would be similar to a mouse making a continuous, low, squeal. Overall, the speaker would be good for parties if you wanted to blare music.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Charging Issue I bought this about two years ago, but right away it had issues charging. If it was just in the right position it would charge, but now it's damaged altogether out of no where. I used this speaker religiously and am SO sad about this issue. Any recommendations to go about fixing it?!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Charging issues like many others I dont use my speaker very often and even so the smaller usb charging connection is damaged so I cannot charge it. I never received a charging adapter when purchased so now the speaker is useless. Why has this not been resolved if it is a common problem?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great sound but annoying “features” The Marley Go To Mini asks great sound into a small and attractive unit. What I can’t fathom is why it’s designers have it set up to frequently interrupt the music with a vocal statement “charging”. Every other electronic device i rely on goes ahead with charging as needed, without such useless interruptions. I also do not like it’s automatic shutting down even when plugged in. Again, this is accompanied by the voice stating “powering off.” These glitches would make me hesitate to recommend the unit in comparison to comparable players that are not programmed to make useless interruptions in the playback—which is what we want from a unit. Too bad.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great speaker with CHARGING a basic CHARGING flaw Bought it a few weeks ago. Awesome clarity, really impressive bass, maybe a bit hissy high end. but i was really impressed. SO VERY DISAPPOINTED that you can't disable the voice prompts. i have it plugged in and usually use the aux cable. Every 20 minutes or so it stops everything and tells me it's charging. Why? who cares? just play the stupid music. if i want to know that you're charging, I'LL LOOK AT THE CHARGE LIGHT.

I read a lot of complaints about the volume of the female voice. Has that issue been resolved? I want to buy 2x mini's because of the pairing, because the normal speaker doesnt have pairing. Is that correct? Or is there a way to lower/adjust the voice?

Asked by: JJCV
I will unfortunately have to get rid of this otherwise great sound device due to the constant intrusion of detestable and unwanted voice messages. This is a terrible feature

It seems a lot of people are bothered with the female voice, including me.It is the only thing ,which keeps me buying one, every time someone ask a question about it, the answer is same.Is there going to be a way in the future to change/turnoff the voice?

Asked by: Maxim
House Of Marley has states there is no way to turn of voice prompts and no way to change the voice either. It's not a bad sounding voice but the bass and volume kills you if it turns off in the middle of the night.

Your website suggests that we should pair two Get Together Minis for stereophonic sound. I get the concept but does this mean the individual unit's woofers and tweeters play in mono? I was thinking of upgrading but don't need just a bigger mono speaker.

Asked by: Jonathan B
Huh? Daniel, Stereo sound is _by definition_ made up of two channels. It's a pretty simple question. Is the one speaker playing stereo or not?

My get together mini doesn't seem to charge properly. The red light initially goes on and then turns off within the space of a minute and doesn't seem to charge up, even when left plugged in. Is this a known fault?

Is there an app or software that can be used tune the speaker? I just got mine and I found it quite weird that it sounds very muddy when I sit close to it but the sound very big and clear when I am far away from it.

Asked by: Kaguyasama
Hey, I know this speaker to be bigger in the bass than others, and this accounts for what I would agree is a « muddy » sound for the odd recording now and then.
