Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well when downsizing apartment clutter and v I’m happy with the product despite not being able to play 12” singles, that’s something to consider..and finally figured out how to connect with both your speaker system and my receiver.. all in all a good price point and good quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looks! Have been using the turntable for 2 years over now and all is good. However, I notice that the antiskate does not seem to be of use. It basically had to be zero all the time else it skips. Does not follow the convention where counterweight 2.5 means antiskate 2.5. just seeking clarification.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely simple design. This turntable fitted in beautifully with my simple, yet comfortable decor. It was simple to set up, and works perfectly. So lovely to hear all my old LPs that I haven’t heard in 15 years (including “Legend”)!

how to correctly setup a counterweight and tracking force for stir-it-up turntable ?

Asked by: Piorek
Hey, Piorek. The counterweight, assuming you've assembled it, for the stylus that the Stir It Up comes with has a tracking force of 2.5 to 3.5 grams, so you want to get it to about 3.0 grams. To do this you need to adjust the counterweight until the tone are is floating level, this is a little tough because this turntable doesn't give the tone arm much play, so you might have to tap it a few time until you're confident it's floating level with (or parallel to) the platter. At this point you should be at 0 grams, so take the face plate of the counterweight, but do not adjust the weight itself, and fix it to 0 grams. Now you should be able to adjust the back part and set it to 3 grams. I hope that helped.

Looking for a player that will play more than one record . The old players held several records. Do you have any?

Asked by: Glen
Unfortunately, the Stir It Up turntable can only hold one record at a time.
