Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bang for your Buck I've had my Bag Of Riddim 2 for about 6 months now and still love every single thing about it. The sound quality that it gives for a portable speaker is impressive, from the bass to the treble never missing a beat. The fact that it is made of recyclables is beyond me. So if you are after something with a little bit of grunt that is also portable, then the Bag of Riddim is most definitely a contender. Looking forward to any future products. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal Product Ever since I tried the Bag of Riddim I have always wanted to buy one, so a couple weeks ago I did. This product is brilliant, the sound is nice and crisp, with the bass booming. Added with the products quality, you will not find a better speaker. I was so happy I showed my uncle who loves speakers, he then went out the next day and brought one for him self and a pair of wireless headphones. If any one is thinking of buying one just do it, I promise you will not regret! Thank you House of Marley!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Bought this for my son for Christmas. He has previously had the ‘get together’ speaker but absolutely loves his new ‘house or riddim’ one. He says the bass is amazing and is now using it in his car as it is far better than his car speakers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from “ if music be the food of love, play on “ I bought my speaker on a Wednesday and it arrived thereafter the following day before midday. I planned to use it in my classic car, however, I’ve not stopped using it at home though I have a very good B&O system. I look forward to the summer months to be able to use it in the garden and blow the neighbours away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable By far the best value for money bluetooth speaker on the market. holds its charge great ive had more than 10 hours from 1 charge without a dip in sound quality. Only thing i would ask is if anyone reading this or the manufacturer knows if there is any different carry bags available for it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of rubbish I've had the head unit replaced 2 times & the charger 3 Times and I will can't get it to play a song without hearing a verse of "CHARGING... CHARGING... CHARGING... CHARGING" A number of my son's friends have bought the same unit and they've all had the same issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent sound and simple to use! I found the Bag of Riddim 2 very simple and intuitive to use, with simple controls for volume and pairing with Bluetooth devices. The sound quality and volume are perfect for entertaining guests, and the battery life is surprising for such a loud speaker. The USB charger port is perfect for charging your phone while out and about, and the 3.5mm input allows use with non-Bluetooth devices (in my case my desktop PC). One drawback is that the speaker emits a very slight hiss at the lowest volume setting, but this is a minor complaint with an otherwise excellent product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound quality One of the best Bluetooth speakers I have owned. Not only is the wooden front ascetically pleasing, it packs a punch with incredible bass. The carry case makes it incredibly versitile and easy to carry to the beach, parks, or the garden.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the look and good features Really love this product. Bamboo wood front. The speaker has Bluetooth and a USB port for your phone. Can be used cordless with hours of playback. It comes with a bag to carry with you. Great sound too. Also and aux port. I was able to connect amazon echo and play through the speakers

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good speakers Been using these speakers as a communal speaker in my kitchen for the past few weeks. They are pretty good speakers though I have a some slight issues. Sound: Great sound, impressive bass. Bass is pronounced but not overpowering. Volume is pretty insane for the size of the speakers, they can be incredibly loud. My main problem with these speakers is I use them at home at the lower end of the volume scales. At low volumes while sitting close to the speaker there is a noticeable hissing when playing music and idling. This hissing isn't noticeable at medium to high volumes. One thing that I noticed is the sound quality of the voice used for notifications is really low quality and gives a false impression of the speakers when you first hear it. Design: I absolutely love the aesthetics of this speaker and the design is very stylish. It is elegant and sleek, nothing like most plastic speakers. Battery: Battery life is pretty good as is the charging functionality. Really nice that the charger comes with an interchangable plug for most major countries. Works well when plugged in constantly as well. Connectivity: Bluetooth pairing works with and the 3.5mm jack. Bluetooth can be spotty when multiple paired devices are within range. Build Quality: Speakers are really hefty without being heavy. I would feel comfortable carrying them around without fear of them breaking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing sound quality I got this speaker about a week ago and haven't stopped using it! The sound quality/ bass is amazing. You can have it at a low noise or blaring out but at no point does the sound muffle or go crackly. I listen to it on medium volume every evening whilst around the house but cant wait to have people over to really get use of the best sound. I love the look of the speaker too and the wooden effect really compliments my kitchen/living room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Good Absolutely fantastic sound quality, great base and lively sparkly sound. When I got the speaker I thought that they would be great for trips to the beach and outside for BBQ’s, but it is far better than that and would use them daily instead of my default Bluetooth speaker. Sound Quality: 10/10 - It is everything that I hoped for and more. Build Quality: 7/10 - The speaker unit is excellent quality, there are no faults here. The carry bag is poorly built, and I have a fear that it will damage the material on the speaker over time. It is hard to operate the buttons with the carry bag attached. I would have also liked to have seen the device connections (AUX and USB) at the back and not in the front, it spoils the great looks. Overall: 8/10 - The battery life is good, but you would not take this away camping for the weekend, which is a pity. I found the voice notifications annoying and unnecessary. Maybe a standard usb/usb-c charging port would have been nice, so that you can charge it on the go. Having said that, if you are in the market for a high-quality Bluetooth speaker I would recommend that you check this one out. Disclaimer: I did receive this product for free on the understanding that I will give my honest feedback.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great speaker When first unveiling the box the impression you get is a premium product. The livery on the box is aesthetically pleasing and the weight of the box is reassuring that you are holding a premium product. Once the box is opened, the packaging appears to protect the speaker well and gives you the impression the packaging has been recycled which is in keeping with the Marley brand. The riddim 2 speaker is a good looking speaker. With its bamboo finish it fits in well to any surrounding. The speakers are exposed, some may not like this look, there are no speaker covers provided so this look cannot be changed and and consequently the drivers may be vulnerable to being damaged. When turning the system on, a computerised voice tells you that the system is turning on and when the speaker is paired with a device. From first turning the speaker on, it took approximately 15 seconds to connect to my phone via Bluetooth. This was a very quick and easy process to get up and running. Now the speaker has been initially paired, as soon as I turn the speaker on it instantly connects to my phone. An integrated auxiliary port allows connection to a multitude of devices. The sound quality of the speaker on the whole is very good. I really enjoy the "lively" base. It is quite heavy on the base with no settings to turn this up or down. Some may find the base a little overpowering however, it suits my ear so I have no complaints. A setting to increase or decrease the base would be an advantage and would then cater for all listeners. When the volume is turned up there is little distortion. The volume can be turned up very loud, the speaker is suitable for filling large rooms. The buttons on top of the speaker work well allowing you to adjust the volume, skip tracks and pause. These features can be used without going to your phone. The battery life I have found is good although I have not had chance to fully test this at this stage. The bag that is included allows the speaker to be portable. It is not a speaker that you would take abroad due to weight, but taking it on a UK break or round your friends is definitely an option. The bag allows the speaker to be carried on the shoulder. In conclusion this feels like a quality product and the sound quality is very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Riddim 2 Really good sound of it can play right through whole house for a speaker of its size is very impressive. Charges very fast and can play while charging. Carry bag it comes with is really handy. And the Bluetooth range is very good without compromising the quality of sound

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Sound Quality and aesthetic I have had this speaker for close to a week now and I must say it is any music fans dream. The sound quality and volume is second to none with amazing power. I have used the speaker both indoors and outdoors and both times I haven't even got close to using the full volume. The aesthetic is slick and beautiful meaning the Bag of Riddim II can fit in to any home and looks especially smart in our modern flat. The only downside could be the large size, if you are looking for something small and dainty this may not be the speaker for you, however you have the remember the size of the speaker is what gives it it's immense sound quality and volume. The fact that this speaker comes with a bag is a huge added bonus as I will most definitely want to bring it to parties and outdoor events as most other speakers just do not compare!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound quality The sound and build quality on these speakers are both great - I love the bamboo front. I use these in my living room and these are able to get super loud. Although the speaker does have a built-in battery, I haven't really carried it around as it is a bit bulky which is the only negative from my perspective. It does come with a bag though to hold it while carrying it. The connection via Bluetooth was easy and the range is decent in my flat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A really great surprise !! I've used a bluetooth speaker in my study for years ....... then we went to Newquay and stumbled across the Boardmasters Surf and Music Festival. Marley had a stall and I was SO impressed with the people and the Bag of Riddim II I bought one there and then. My previous speaker is now in the kitchen and my study is a much louder place to be ..... great quality ---- highly recommended (and LOVE the bamboo finish !)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I have ever owned! Sound is incredible. The bass really bumps! Can rock a House party no problem! Love the new design. My only concern is when you plug it in to charge and if someone grabs it to move and doesn't know its plugged in can damage the plug like it did on mine but was able to buy the right connectors at Fry's and fix it myself. The bag somewhat conceals this but overall the sound, design and easy blue tooth connectivity are all an upgrade over BOR1.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Class Only thing holding this back is a way to tell how much battery this has left and the annoying noise it's makes when it reaches full volume. We played football in a field yesterday and you could hear it over the entire pitch and sounds so good

Q & A

After fully charging my bag of ridim 2 i can only play roughly 9min on full volume before it warns me it battery is low and it needs charging. It plays on full volume for another 20min before its dead. Is this normal???

Asked by: Mikelarry
No, mine will play for hours on full volume and day plus at medium to low output. You might have a battery that is not getting fully charged or an excessive draw ..
