Customer Reviews

Rebel BT On-Ear Headphones is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Instructions - what instructions? I rec'd these as a Xmas present. The small manual inside was in such small print I needed a magnifying glass to read it, only to find nothing of any use. There was a referral to an online instruction manual, which led me to this site. If anyone can find the manual for Rebel BT headphones please let me know, because I can't find it among all the other manuals listed. My only guess is that they needed to be charged so I plugged them into the usb on my computer, with the cord they provided. Nothing popped up on my computer to indicate anything was plugged in or charging. So far I am very unsatisfied with this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for the average man's head Purchased these about a week ago, overall they sound great no issues besides that they hurt my ear lobes from the pressure of them squeezing my ears against my head. I have every intention of keeping them, possibly letting my children use them. As I know they will be great quality. Ive owned another pair of House of Marley headphones for about 5 years with absolutely no problems and wanted to go over ear Bluetooth Not bad headphones but not for the average man's head. Which over ear headphones would House of Marley suggest I purchase? I stand behind the name, and understand different people have different sized heads!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good headphones unfortunatly won't charge I bought these about a year ago and use them for the gym, since they are Bluetooth. They worked great up until this past few weeks. They will no longer charge and the whole point of getting these was to be wireless. They do come with a cord to connect in the case that the headphones are not charged and unfortunately the sound quality is not good at all with the cord. When they worked they were great, I had no issues until the last week when they won't charge or turn on anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not charging apparently I am not the only one that has a bluetooth earphone that needs a cable to function....makes no sense. The usb cable that came with it never worked, but it used to charge in other general cables I had. About 6m later, no cbale is good enough. Sucks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Sound But They Still Suck. I bought my first pair on April 7th, went home and tried to turn them on and all I got was a digital clicking noise. I brought them back to best buy the very next day and got an exchange. The ones I got worked pretty well until yesterday... Now in Bluetooth or wired mode I only get sound out of one earcup. I babied those headphones and they still broke for no good reason. I thought you couldn't get worse than Skullcandy but the Rebel BT has proven me very wrong. Please don't buy these headphones, either spend the money to get better Marleys or buy something like Sony or AudioTechnicas.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No instructions - not chargine Got these just after christmas. The sound is fine. I've been using the cable because they aren't charging. I can't get them paired without a charge - I think this is the issue because of course (as others have mentioned) the instruction "manual" is a small paper with 5 languages and microscopic print. These seem to be the only product without online instructions. Thankfully, I kept the box. I will be exchanging them for something else. Bluetooth headphones that I have to use with a cable sort of defeats the purpose.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great value per price but breaks easily I bought them 1 year ago, sound is not outstanding but very good for a $50USD headphones. The bass is very good, they're comfortable and the bluetooth runs well. My problem comes with the durability of the device. Somehow the volume up button got broken. I have never dropped them so a fall is not the cause. Now since the volume up button is broken, once that you start downloading the volume with the volume down button, there's no way back, so eventualy it becomes useless via bluetooth, it only works with cable now since I cannot set the volumen up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great wireless headphones for the price! I'm not sure why everyone seems to be having so many problems with these. I will admit, the materials could be better (they are made of a lower-grade plastic, but you wouldn't know unless you held them yourself) but that is made up for with good battery life and pretty great sound quality. Bass response is obviously the key here--a HoM signature--if you like reggae, electronic-EDM, or rock with emphasis on bass, these lightweight wireless headphones are a great choice. Just don't be too rough on them and they will take care of you ;)

Q & A

Do these headphones require a firmware update, they are beginning to get very staticy and there’s lag when it’s on bluetooth

Asked by: Krelord
from what I can tell no you don't need to cause mine work perfectly fine only issues I have had is that sometimes it doesn't want to connect properly for some reason but that ended a while ago so just go to best buy to check if you got a defective one krelord

Headphones have stopped charging, so I can no longer use them in BT mode. charger and cable are both working, as I can plug in other devices that show they are charging. The headphones, however, have not charged when turned off and plugged in overnight.

No doubt you read the comments that people send in, so I ask you: WHY do you insist on making the instructions so hard to read when so many people complain about them? It is such a simple thing to fix! At least put them ONLINE!

The user manual has no instructions as to how to sync the headphones with the phone. How does one do this?

Asked by: Barbra
The headphones will automatically enter pairing mode when they are turned on, and should be visible in your phone's Bluetooth settings. If you would like to reset Bluetooth to change devices, you can do so by holding down the Forward and Back arrow buttons for two seconds.

Same problem as many others it seems. Have worked fine for a couple months but are now beeping continually even while plugged in to outlet. Wire and charger works fine on other devices so that is not the issue.
