Rated 5 out of 5 by from power and perfect sound It has followed me for 1y of travelling across Australia, felt a lot of times, high temperatures, took the water and the dust all along but survived! Very convenient to make parties outside, you can literally dance all the night outside with the power and the perfect sound that it makes. (I broke it two hours ago, ready to buy another one :)

Loved this speaker when I first bought it, but after less than a year and half, it seems to be repeating "charging..." whenever it is connected to power. I notice that several others are reporting this problem. What is the fix for this? Please advise. And please don't just tell me to contact customer service... That, in itself is poor customer service.

I love my music and have been looking to replace my technically outdated, but still credible sounding ARCAM Cube for some time, but nothing cut he mustard. Until I first heard these Riddim 2’s which my son bought to a party. I was blown away by their depth and quality of sound, extracting details that even my quality Technics amp with Mission762’s don’t deliver. I have owned my own Riddim 2’s for several months now playing many tunes from my eclectic collection and I remain astonished that such a huge rich sound emminates from such a small frame! And the battery live is also excellent. My only criticism is that they don’t come with any form of protection/cover for the speakers against accidental damage. So I made my own. I thoroughly recommend them, especially at this price! I paid 3x more for my ARCAM Cube 6-7yrs ago and the Riddim 2’s are twice as good.

After fully charging my bag of ridim 2 i can only play roughly 9min on full volume before it warns me it battery is low and it needs charging. It plays on full volume for another 20min before its dead. Is this normal???

No, mine will play for hours on full volume and day plus at medium to low output. You might have a battery that is not getting fully charged or an excessive draw ..

Can I either turn down or turn off the voice prompt without affecting overall output/volume of audio?

You can cycle between different languages or a tone by pressing “Bluetooth” and “volume up” buttons together. At least the “Tone” function may be less annoying for you.
